Hello, This week we’ll talk about meeting people, where people go for the best bars and drinks in Britain, and how they differ from Japanese bars. I’m not familiar with alcohol. However I will investigate in detail. Enjoy reading until the end!!

First, the place to meet people in Britain is the community. I don’t think people have heard much about it in Japan, but the image is like a club for adults as opposed to for university students. I haven’t heard much. Meet people with the same hobbies and interested people at cafe and enjoy interacting with each other. In fact, a number of communites have been created through a site called Meetup. In order to meet, I think it is important to deepen positivness and exchange.

The most famous liquor in Britain is gin. Gin was made in 1689. The world’s production areas for gin are the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany. But the most famous is the dry gin in the United Kingdom. The taste of gin is refreshing, but it has a unique aroma such as Juniper berries. Besides juniper, flavours such as lemon and orange peel are also added. I want to drink it.

The second is Scotch whiskey. Scotch whiskey is one of the five largest whiskeys in the world and was made in Scotland. With different characteristics from country to country, Scotch is characterized by a smoky scent like smoke.🚬

The place to drink in Britain is the pub. Pub is said to have evolved from public house and were called public house until around the 18th century. Pub is a facility that was used as a meeting place for people, a social gathering place, and sometimes a place for weeding ceremonies. Compared to bar, pub have softer and more discreet music, and customers spend more time in the pub. There are also many types of beer, as well as drinks such as wine and cider. There are differences between British and Japanese bar. Izakaya is the most common place to drink alcohol in Japan. ・Drink alcohol outside ・Pay for each order ・The pub is open fpom the morning ・There are few food menus ・There is a cider alongside beer There are differences from Japan.!

In turned out that the liquor to drink is different dependent on the world, and the characteristics of the bar to drink are also different. I actually want to go to a bar in Britain once.
